My photo feature on Heritage Buildings of Kolkata, titled “Glimpses of Kolkata” was published in the April 2014 issue of Spice Route (In flight magazine of Spice Jet).

Metropolitan Building, Calcutta (Kolkata)

The six page photo feature consisted of a total of 11 photos, including a two page spread black and white title photo of the Metropolitan Building.

The next two pages consists of a collection of 5 photos. Photo No 1 shows the Armenian Christmas celebration at the Armenian Church. Photo No. 2 shows the interior of Magen David Synagogue. St. James’ Church (Jora Girja) is photo No. 3. Photo No. 4 shows the Toong On Church and Nanking Restaurant and interiors of St. John’s Church is photo No. 5.

The final two pages also contains a collection of 5 photos. Photo No. 1 consists of two photos showing the statues above Writers’ Building in Kolkata. Writers’ Building, Kolkata contains 4 such set of statues. Photo No. 2 shows the intricate mosaic work of the Jain Temple while photo No. 3 shows the details of the alter of Magen David Synagogue.

St. Andrew’s Church comes in photo No. 4 and a panoramic shot of Writers’ Building and Reserve Bank comes in photo No. 5.
