With the walk complete the job was only half done. The participants soon started to upload there photos in Wikimedia Commons under the category   “Wikipedia Takes Kolkata 3.” and several of the photos have already been used in different articles of Wikipedia.

Why no women in your group?

    • March 5, 2014 at 10:41 PM

Its a difficult question, none of the three Wikipedia Photowalks in Kolkata had a female participant. Hope to break the trend in the next photowalk!!!

Another gender biased Wikipedia data. Only 7% of Wikipedia editors are female!!!!!
